For Apple Fanatics
18 10 2010The love for Apple products increases when I get to pair my Apple items with awesome accessories and I have a new item added to my “I Want” list.
Photo: NOTCOT.org
ok. this is not exactly made only for Apple products. In fact, its made for everybody. Grid-It is the doings of Cocoon. Threaded with rubber-bands in both vertically and horizontally to allow you to organize and hold your items. It keeps your items from sliding off the mat and keeping your bag perfectly organized. Definitely perfect for multiple item carrier like me.

Horsing Around
13 09 2010Once again, its been a long while since I’ve last updated this space. Been busy with school work and Monday Moods. Promise to update this space as often as I possibly can. In this entry, I’m bringing to you a horse ride created by a Korean designer Eungi Kim. No horses were harmed in the process.

Pictures: Design Milk
Horsey, a shortlist for Designboom and Seoul Design Foundation 2010 Seoul competition. It is a bicycle ornament that can be easily attached or removed from bicycles. Created to make you feel like you are riding a grand stallion around town by giving the bike a special look. Making bicycle rides not feel like a transportation but rather, a pet. Each horsey package will come with horsey’s body (made of wood), metal parts, screws and a very simple manual. Now who says you have to be rich to own a horse.

A Day In The Life Of Barbie’s
20 07 2010Well, well, well… it’s been a long long time since i last posted something in this space. work has been taking up so much of my time that could barely allow me to do other productive stuff like updating this little space of mine. other than work, i’ve been prepping to start my very own paper products line (monday moods). not completed, but i’m almost there. you can check updates of monday moods at navigation bar of this blog. updates aside.
I believe most of you (especially girls) love Barbie or at least know who she is. The recent Toy Story (3) movie featured Barbie and Ken, with a more Barbie (dolls) in couture outfits released for sale too. Barbie has definitely grown to be a toy that kids these days do not play. Its vintage I would say. Apart from her recent debut in a movie, she has taken over Plaza Athénée in Paris. They have recently introduced to the world 2 very unique rooms which were heavily inspired by Barbie.

photos: Plaza Athénée
Everything in a room has a Barbie touch to it like Barbie’s favorite bright pink color, furniture and fabrics adorned with the Barbie accessory symbol. Just like the Barbie toy room set you used to own being brought to life. Sadly, these rooms are only available from August 6th until September 2nd 2010 from 1,600 € and only for ages 16 and above. With every booking, breakfast will be included Barbie style and guests will receive a special gift.

Going, Going, Gone
5 05 2010This holiday marks the start of getting internship done for us 2nd year students and most people hasn’t secured a place for internship. Maybe you could start considering about auctioning for your dream internship? Say… Vogue?

Recently Vogue had a vacancy for their internship program up for auction. Well, the auction is over with a winning bid of $42,500. For $42,500, the winner gets to work with Anna Wintour (editor in chief of Vogue, pictured above) and the rest of her staff for seven days. Honestly, I really have no clue how much can you learn in just seven days or is it really worth $42,500. Who knows? The winner might be the next editor in chief.

We Know We’re The Best. NOT
22 04 2010Singapore is named as the best city in Asia. CNN came up with 50 reasons why we’re the best and reason #38:
No offense to Batman, but i really thot tt you’re 1 of the coolest reason to why we’re the best. I swear this 1 of the best lists of made about Singapore. Love how CNN phrased it in sucha funny way to describe on our daily lifestyles like the Singlish we use, the way we order tea/coffee, and the way we “chope” tables. To view all 50 reasons, just click on Batman’s ic and it will lead you there.
